After working as a Special effects makeup artist, Stuntman, and Magician for independent films and live productions throughout Calif. Steve was give the opportunity to work for Image Engineering in Burbank Ca. Steve had previously done some work on the side for Wrath of Kahn but this was his first full time job with an effects company. He literally started out sweeping floors and worked his way up to model work and sculpting, rain effects etc... After his tenure at IE he went on to work for Wonderworks where he quickly became one of the project supervisors. There he was part of Michael Jackson's "Moonwalker", Creation and installation of the interior mock up of the space shuttle and full scale replicas of 2 MMU's (Manned Maneuvering Units) for Space Camp in Huntsville Alabama, various commercial spots as well as supervisor for the Benthic Explorer on the "Abyss" Independently he worked on The Great LA Earthquake a few commercial spots for "Wiener Stitzel" and "Eveready" and the feature film "Flight of the Intruder". At about this time he was contacted by 4-Ward Productions and took a position with them for "Terminator 2 Judgement Day" where he oversaw the "Sarah's Nightmare sequence miniatures as well as other duties. His next duties were at Global Effects, Inc. as the shop supervisor for "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer", "From Earth to the Moon", "Armageddon", and "Deep Impact". Steve's last feature film as model shop supervisor was "Dante's Peak" which actually was shot in Wallace Idaho, in which Steve had lived and graduated Highschool from. Due to some health issues Steve retired from the film industry and pursued his first love of live performances. Today he can be found in Branson Mo. at the Star Theater performing as Steve Sanders, tHAT Mentalist Guy. If you're ever in Branson, stop by and catch the show!
