Dated Yoko Ono during her separation from John Lennon in 1973 and 1974;
encouraged her to completely cut herself off from Lennon, and left when
she refused. Spinozza didn't hear from Ono for years, until after
Lennon's murder, when she asked him to sign off on "It Happened", which
they'd recorded together, and she now wanted to release as a Lennon
tribute. (A coda was added to the 1974 recording, featuring the band
from "Double Fantasy".)
