American animator who also worked as an illustrator for Dell Warner Brothers and Disney comics in the 1940's and 50's. Began his career delivering ice. From 1948, he had his own newspaper strips, 'Chico' and 'Holly Wood'. Animated cartoons for Warner Brothers, Hanna-Barbera, Walter Lantz and UPA.
