Born in Bogota;, Colombia, he started his career at the age of 9. His
major credits from this period are "Los Pecados de Ines de Hinojosa",
"Las Aguas Mansas" y "La Viuda de Blanco", all of them colombian
television productions. In 1992 his theatrical debut in "La Increible y
Triste Historia de la Candida Erendira y su Abuela Desalmada" by Nobel
Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez, was a huge success and toured,
Europe, central and south America. In 1997 traveled to New York city to
study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Following his
graduation in 1999 he started working at the Spanish Repertory Theater.
He was awarded the HOLA as best performing actor for his portrayal of
Santiago Nassar in Garcia Marquez's "Chronicle of a Death Foretold".
Back in Colombia, his credits also include successful soap operas as
"El Precio del Silencio", "Pasion de Gavilanes" and "La Marca del
Deseo". Films include "A Ton of Luck", "El Rey" and "Poker".
