Babylon is a movie which from its failure in the box office recalls the echoes of Intolerance (1915), in which they built those sets with elephants that were so grandiose, in a film making style of another era and an impossible dream, disconcerting, ambitious and almost orgiastic spirit.

Babylon is a period piece directed by Damien Chazelle – creator of First Man and Whiplash. It stars Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt.

This will be the second time the two actors appear together in a movie, the first being Once Upon A Time… in Hollywood.

Premise

Babylon tells the very interesting story of the transition from silent film to sound movies during the roaring 1920’s. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, tracing the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.

From director/producer Adam Ripp, he carefully crafted a supernatural horror movie, Devil’s Whisper, that was acquired by Vega Baby Releasing ahead of its premiere at the Dances with Films festival last week in Hollywood.

Devil’s Whisper is a unique indie horror that will be released in a multi-platform through Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The film is inspired by true events, Devil’s Whisper tells the story of a 15-year-old boy who aspires to be a Catholic priest. When he discovers a mysterious box passed down from his grandparents, he unwittingly unleashes a demonic spirit bent on possessing him--and must find a way to defeat the demon, which has been tormenting children since the dawn of man, before it destroys him and everyone he loves.

“Announcing – our daughter Charlie. The new member of the team,” she captioned a photo of her daughter’s tiny hand around her fingers and that of husband Marcos Ferraez.
