The psychological horror film The Reflected Self, directed by Kelvin Richards, is set to debut on Amazon on 10th December. Produced on a tight budget of £50,000, the film combines a haunting setting with a deeply introspective exploration of identity and perception. With standout performances by Barney Jones (Andor), Marielle Clare (In the House), and Daisie Boyes (The Reckoning), the film delivers a chilling yet thought-provoking experience.
Set in a converted 18th-century mill, The Reflected Self follows Dion (Jones) and his teenage sister Nia (Boyes) as they adjust to life in their inherited home after the tragic loss of their parents. Haunted by guilt and a newfound responsibility toward Nia, Dion begins to see visions of a ghostly Victorian woman. What starts as fleeting apparitions spirals into something more sinister when Dion finds himself alone in the house with this spectral figure, now appearing in modern clothing and claiming his sister is gone.

As Saturday Night Live prepares for the comedy birthday party to end all comedy birthday parties, expect plenty of classic characters to get their encore flowers. Maybe Wayne and Garth will get in one last schwing! Stefon might reignite his love affair with Seth Meyers. Eddie Murphy could break out Mr. Robinson or Gumby.
But thanks to evolving cultural norms around comedy, these 10 SNL characters are virtually guaranteed not to get an invite to the festivities. Sorry, Merv the Perv, you’re not on the list.
1 Pat
Pat was Julia Sweeney’s signature SNL character, showing up 12 times to repeat the same tired joke: No one could tell if the androgynous character was a man or a woman. Playing gender identity for laughs isn’t cool — and it doesn’t help that whiny, whinging Pat was insufferable.

City of Hope Gala Delivers an Elton John Set, David Blaine’s Magic and Surprise Cameo by Celine Dion
Two legends turned up at City of Hope’s Spirit of Life gala on Tuesday night.
It came as no surprise when Elton John took his place at center stage inside the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, as the piano man was announced as one of the night’s headliners weeks before the event took place. He still wowed the crowd by closing the packed program with a rousing set that included his hits “Your Song,” a rendition of “Tiny Dancer” and an extended performance of “Rocket Man” that rocketed the capacity crowd out of their seats by the time it was over.
However, when it came time to present the night’s highest honor to Aeg Presents chairman and CEO Jay Marciano, a big reveal came in the form of superstar Celine Dion. Organizers managed to keep her appearance under wraps until her name was called and she made...

Rufus Wainwright was not flattered that former president Donald Trump used his cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” during last night’s strange town hall turned listening party in Pennsylvania. In fact, the singer called the candidate’s music choice “the height of blasphemy.”
“The song ‘Hallelujah’ by Leonard Cohen has become an anthem dedicated to peace, love and acceptance of the truth,” Wainwright said in a statement posted on Instagram. “I’ve been supremely honored over the years to be connected with this ode to tolerance. Witnessing Trump and his supporters commune with this music last night was the height of blasphemy. Of course, I in no way condone this and was mortified, but the good in me hopes that perhaps in inhabiting and really listening to the lyrics of Cohen’s masterpiece, Donald Trump just might experience a hint of remorse over what he’s caused. I’m not holding my breath.

Ever since becoming one of the biggest pop stars in recent history, Ariana Grande hasn’t spent much time showing off her acting abilities in front of the camera. Before taking over the music industry, Grande found Hollywood success while working on the set of Nickelodeon’s Victorious as Cat Valentine, featuring the iconic Victoria Justice.

Season 50 of “Saturday Night Live” started strong with an exciting unveiling of new political impersonations from Andy Samberg, Jim Gaffigan, Dana Carvey, Bowen Yang, and others. An episode hosted by Nate Bargatze that proved the show is at its best when working off talent with a comedic background, but this week’s episode, hosted by Ariana Grande, proved that maintaining a hot streak after 50 seasons isn’t always possible. The episode started with a traditional political cold open that saw Vice President Kamala Harris (Maya Rudolph) and former President Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson) face off in a game of Family Feud rather than a regular debate. Hosted by Steve Harvey (Kenan Thompson), Harris was joined by her husband, Doug Emhoff (Samberg), her VP pick Tim Walz (Gaffigan), and President Joe Biden (Carvey), while Trump reluctantly brought along his son, Donald Jr. (Mikey Day), and his running mate, Jd Vance...
