At the end of last week’s episode, we sadly learnt that former Mrs Continental, Naysha Lopez, would sadly be leaving the competition after Jimbo tried (and failed) to get her revenge on her from Drag Race UK vs The World with the returning lip-sync assassin Pangina Heels! After what can only be described as a fairly one-sided battle, it was revealed that the group had decided that it was Natasha’s time to leave which meant that the other bottom queen Kahana Montrese would get another chance this season. It was when the actual votes were revealed however that we saw our first glimpses of drama from this season of returning queens after Jessica explained that the reason she voted for Kahana to home was that she couldn’t vote for Naysha as they are both from Puerto Rico. While I understand that this is a natural connection between...

With nine queens remaining after just as many episodes, Season 13 is starting to feel like the longest one in herstory. But as Kandy Muse is quick to remind TVLine, “Baby, you can never have too much Drag Race.”
Ahead of tonight’s highly anticipated Snatch Game (VH1, 8/7c), we caught up with two of this season’s standout queens — New York City’s Kandy and Rosé — to discuss their recent triumphs over drag-versity:

The winning queens came to slay (and slay they did).
On RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 Episode 2, it was a non-elimination round for the queens who came out on top during the premiere. Instead of competing for safety, they got another chance to show their star quality and potential snag some cash.
These rounds aren't the most exciting reality TV weeks, but if you love the fabulousness of drag, this round is right up your alley.
Did anyone actually believe the queen who got the chop would be eliminated?
During last week's review of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 Episode 1, I theorized the possibility but stuck in the camp, it wasn't going to happen. There's no way Mama Ru would give up that control, especially during a mainline season.
It seems my guess was right ... it was all for the drama.

The handbags may have been tiny on Friday’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, but the twists were big. And they were plentiful.
Following last week’s game-changing Season 13 premiere, TVLine readers were gunning for either Kahmora Hall, Elliott With 2 Ts or Utica Queen to become the official Pork Chop of Season 13. And the show was more than happy to grant their wish… with one major catch.

Every year at Christmas/New Years period people constantly complains that there is “nothing good on TV” which is only exaggerated this year with all the limitations on filming with the new Covid guidelines. However, I am overjoyed that there have been numerous productions that have still be able to film and create more seasons of the shows people love. This is exactly what Ru Paul has done with her latest season of Drag Race that has just been released on Netflix! Now, some changes have had to be able for this new season commence mainly the fact that the judges’ panel is now socially distanced with full-length plastic partitions separating each judge. Now, if you have not already seen the “Meet the Queens” video that was posted on the official Drag Race YouTube channel (which can be found here) or if you would prefer to keep the queens a...

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” fans, we know you are ready to rate a whole new set of queens. Season 13 of this Emmy-winning reality competition series kicks off on Friday. Watch with us as the girls duke it out for the honor of being chosen by RuPaul Charles to join the Drag Race Hall of Fame. A lucky 13 contestants are in the fight for the coveted title. So who shantayed with the first all-important win and which queen sashayed away?
Among the baker’s dozen is the usual gaggle of girls from New York City that boast a handful of connections to former contestants. Kandy Muse‘s drag mother is season 9’s Aja and she’s a sister to season 12’s Dahlia Sin while Rosé is in a girl group (Stephanie’s Child) with season 12’s Jan. Then there’s Olivia Lux who is admittedly gobsmacked to be competing among the other three “legends” from NYC,...

The queens came, they conquered, and now one has walked away with the crown!
Despite social-distancing across the country, the final three lipsynced virtually head-to-head on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 14. No live audience to cheer them on; only green screens and filters to support their performances.
This finale will go down in the record books as a first for reality TV.
Before the queens lipsynced for the crown, there was some hesitation about how RuPaul and the team would pull this together. I mean, it's a finale that involves lipsyncs!
This isn't a reunion show that could easily be cut together like RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 13.
The grand finale involves lipsync battles and knocking each other out in stages. The format could potentially change, but there had to be some fairness to keep all the queens on the same playing field. Not all queens would have access to the same editing and technology.

The season finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race is just hours away, and Crystal Methyd is ready to party — even if she has to play the role of piñata.
VH1 has released a two-minute sneak peek of tonight’s big event (8/7c), featuring the virtual arrivals of all 13 — oops, sorry, make that 12! — queens: Gigi Goode, Jaida Essence Hall, Jackie Cox, Heidi N Closet, Widow Von’Du, Jan, Brita, Aiden Zhane, Nicky Doll, Rock M. Sakura, Dahlia Sin and, of course, the aforementioned piñata.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ queens throw shade at Sherry Pie: There’s ‘only 12’ girls in our season, not 13
The claws are out and all of the manicurists are in quarantine.
During the remotely produced “RuPaul’s Drag Race” reunion special, the Season 12 queens dressed in their most extravagant slumber party attire as they rehashed VH1’s reality TV show. The episode opened with a fun “Shady Bunch” rap in which the queens declared, “We were 13 queens competing all together — well, technically only 12 — but like Macaulay on Christmas now we’re home alone, too!” Of course, that bit of shade was directed toward Sherry Pie, the show’s 13th contestant who was disqualified from attending the reunion and grand finale after admitting to being a catfish.

Spill all the tea. Dish all the dirt. Check all the WiFi connections.
The queens have reunited for the first-ever Drag Race virtual reunion on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 13.
No topic was off the table now that the queens have watched every episode from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12. Though, there was no physical table since they have to social-distance. (This was a first for the series.)
Drag Race isn't afraid to try something new. They've shaken up formats in the past, like when they incorporated the "Lipsync For The Crown" finale from the previous split reunion/finale. Finding a new way to deliver on an episode is right up their alley.
Plus, the reunions are so much fun! It would've been a shame to lose out on having the queens reunited and spill the tea on the events of the season.
Thankfully, everyone had a great WiFi connection and...

Drag Race‘s dirty dozen came together for a virtual reunion on Friday, and while they didn’t directly address the biggest scandal of Season 12, the queens still served a few slices of shady pie.

With some competitions, the key is to go big or go home. But on RuPaul’s Drag Race, going too big can be the exact thing that sends you packing, as one queen learned the hard way on Friday.
Jan was emotional within the first few minutes of the episode, allegedly heartbroken over her Bff Brita’s elimination. (I say allegedly because several queens expressed their belief that Jan was crying “crocodile tears,” covering for the fact that she was actually upset about not winning the Madonna challenge. And who better than Sherry Pie to sniff out a faker?)

After another week of global panic and government-mandated solitude, Friday’s Drag Race offered a welcome return to normalcy with a new episode of America’s favorite medical drama — Gay’s Anatomy.
A game of chance (and pills) put Gigi Goode and Nicky Doll in charge of casting this week’s acting challenge. And like all acting challenges, the drama began before the roles were even assigned. Aiden Zhane, for example, wasn’t thrilled with the character she was given — never mind the shade of Gigi and Nicky telling her that she’d be “good at playing a ghost.” (It’s all about the delivery,...
