Vanessa Incontrada

Born in Barcelona, and after a childhood between Italy and Spain, Vanessa Incontrada began her career at the age of 17 as a model. She then became the face of major advertising brands like Pupa, Wind, Persona, Sky, Zalando, and Elena Mirò. She worked as an announcer on the radio, on Hit Channel and later on RTL 102.5, and as a host on various TV and music shows. She debuted on the big screen in 2003 with Pupi Avati, in Il cuore altrove (Incantato), a movie that would be presented at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Globes in Los Angeles. The partnership with that director would continue in 2006 with the movie La cena per farli conoscere (A Dinner for Them to Meet). Many are the feature-length films she has starred in, including Quale amore (The Kreutzer Sonata: What is Love?) by Maurizio Sciarra and Todos estamos invitados by Manuel Gutierrez Aragon. Her recognition as a TV star came with Zelig, which she hosted with Claudio Bisio from 2004 to 2010 as she affirmed herself by hosting various other shows including 11 years of the Music Awards at the Arena in Verona and 20 Anni che siamo italiani. Since 2014 she has become one of the most loved and popular faces on Rai, starred in numerous TV hits like Anna & Yusef and Un'altra vita by Cinzia Th. Torrini, Non dirlo al mio capo by Giulio Manfredonia, Il capitano Maria, La classe degli asini, I nostri figli and Come una madre by Andrea Porporati. She is also entrusted with hosting on Sky for Italia's Got Talent and Dance Dance Dance. In September 2020 she closed a two-year exclusive deal for TV movies/series and entertainment with Mediaset and in 2021 will be back in movie theaters with the movie Ostaggi by Eleonora Ivone.
