From journalist to filmmaker, Don Ng Hiu-Tung has dedicated his career to telling compelling stories. After a 15-year career in journalism in Hong Kong, he made the move to filmmaking in 2015. Since then, he has directed 12 award-winning short films in Hong Kong and the UK, focusing primarily on social dramas. In July 2024, Don produced his debut feature film, No Time for Goodbye, which was shot in London. The film's casting of Afghan, Ukrainian, and Kurdish refugees from the diaspora in supporting roles lends a profound sense of realism and emotional depth to the narrative, enriching the storytelling with authentic perspectives and lived experiences.
