- Award-winning French Canadian filmmaker and editor, Annie Leclair has been touring the world with her directorial debut film, GROUNDED (2020). Winner of the Audience Choice Award at the Diversity in Cannes during the 74th Cannes Film Festival, Grounded is chosen by UNESCO to be screened at their 2023 virtual event for the International Day of People with Disability. A self-taught documentary film editor for TV and Cinema for the last 18 years, Annie is known for her musicality and sensitive approach to storytelling as well as her holistic vision of every production she gets involved in. In 2024, Annie is nominated at the Canadian Cinema Editors Awards for Best Editing on the feature documentary film GREYLAND (2022). Passionate and dedicated to her industry, Annie is a former board member of the Montreal Women in Film and Television Association (Allia).
