Born in Montreal in 1978, Simon Galiero began directing short fiction
and documentary films in 1998. In 2008, he won the Prix Jutra for best
short/mid-length film for his independent production Notre prison est
un royaume. His first feature-length film, Nuages sur la ville, won the
Grand Prix Focus (Best Canadian Film) at the 2009 Festival du Nouveau
Cinema.
