With over two decades in the Film and Television industry, Production Sound Mixer Jake Slaney has displayed an unwavering dedication to storytelling through sound. He has contributed to a wide spectrum of projects from blockbuster theatrical releases, award winning documentaries, to Independent Sundance premiers. Previously based in Atlanta, Georgia, and now residing in New Zealand, Jake's approach is marked by precision, collaboration, and a passion for capturing performance. He has a deep engagement with the industry as a member of the Cinema Audio Society, IATSE 479, and the Audio Engineering Society as well as a commitment to sharing his expertise through teaching and mentorship. Notable projects include The Rule of Jenny Pen (James Ashcroft), Bookworm (Ant Timpson), The Death of Dick Long (A24), and The Devil All the Time (Netflix).
