Melanie Gretchen, based in New York, is executive producer, writer, and principal actor of the award-winning short film "Like a PowerPoint," an office romance, and the upcoming "The Back Garden," a psychological thriller. From the Bay Area, she has performed with Lincoln Center in the world premiere of "the public domain" and in the horror film "Tinted View."
After growing up in the Philippines and Malta, she received a BA in Journalism and Theatre from the University of Denver. Since arriving in New York, she has studied with Karen Kohlhaas at The Art and the Audition, and with the Atlantic Theatre Company.
