Teresa Castillo and her two sisters were born in Long Beach, California. Her father was a Science teacher and her mother was a Homemaker. Growing up, she studied dance and drama at The American National Academy of Performing arts in North Hollywood, California. Her first time on stage was during her freshman year at South Gate High where she played Maria in West Side Story. She became a professional actor at Disney's California Adventure playing Princess Jasmine in Aladdin; A Musical Spectacular where she met her husband. She then made her way onto the screen appearing in commercials and as a Guest Star on various television shows until she landed a contract role on ABC's General Hospital, where she portrayed the character Sabrina Santiago. Teresa lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
