Lâle is an actress and an award winning Australian Writers' Guild Pathways writer working in screen, stage, and prose.
Lâle's original TV series, a family drama/ comedy, is optioned by Goalpost Pictures, 2023, and in early development.
Lâle has worked across the Goalpost Pictures slate since 2021, including time on location in the script department of All3Media and Stan's mystery series Black Snow. Lâle was the NSW recipient of the inaugural SBS Emerging Writer's Award, 2021.
Lâle's evocative mystery thriller long form pilot was shortlisted for the Australian Writers' Guild Monte Miller Awards, 2023, and has now been optioned by Magpie Pictures, 2024.
Lâle was sponsored by Scripted Ink to work at Studiocanal Australia and write coverage for the European Film Market, 2021, after winning the 2019, Australian Writers' Guild Monte Miller Award for her short pilot The Black Tulip, which also received Best Short Script in the Florence Film Awards, 2019.
Lâle's short pilot script Blue Mountain won Best Sci-Fi Script in Los Angeles Film Awards, 2019, and Best Short Script in the 2018 Red Carpet Film Awards in NYC.
Lâle's first short film script The palace That I Live In was produced in 2014 and had its world premiere at Palm Springs International Shortfest, 2015, before continuing on the festival circuit. It featured Hunter Page Lochard, herself, and her real life mother Diana Jeffrey.
