[on being inspired to write episodes for
Chicago P.D. (2014)]: I was born in Oak Park and raised in Palatine, so the city was my backyard growing up, It's an incredibly diverse landscape, which gives us an opportunity to explore characters and stories from vastly different backgrounds, socially and ethnically.
