Patreon may be the best-known name in fan funding, but Fanfix is building a strong user base, and its newest product will bring in even more traffic. The monetization platform has rolled out an in-house link-in-bio service that will compete with similar products from companies like Linktree and Koji.
Previously, Fanfix used third-party links-in-bio to direct followers from Instagram and Snapchat to creators’ paywalled content. According to TechCrunch, the platform’s community requested an internal version of the popular feature.
“Fanfix has grown to 10 million users so quickly by focusing on monetization and putting creators first,” said the company’s Co-Founder, Harry Gestetner, in a statement. “Platforms have taken advantage of creators for so many years, so we are thrilled to launch the most monetization-centric, creator-first link-in-bio on the internet.”
Though Fanfix is not yet as big as Patreon, it has gathered a strong base by catering to Gen Z.

I have to say I am not particularly a massive fan of Kevin Hart as his style of comedy is personally not one that I am interested in but his new Netflix original show Don’t Fuck This Up has really given me a new perspective on him as a person!
These “inside look into artists lives” style programmes have become very popular recently and has seen many artists discuss how they got to where they are now and this show was everything you would expect. It contained honest and candid interviews about Kevin’s life, where he opened up and talked about his struggles and things that have affected him growing up and because of this, it’s not an action-packed show instead it’s more subdued with more hard-hitting themes. Due to this, we are able to see the side of Kevin that many people don’t know about.

With "Why Haven’t I Met You?," however, Dallas is moving away from the questionable rapping he showcased in 2015's "She Bad" and toward a Justin Bieber-esque pop sound. “I gotta be honest,” the 24-year-old croons in the guitar-driven track's opening lines. When I start fallin’, I just stop it.” In the music video, Dallas, a scantily-clad love interest, and their white lab frolic around a mansion in the mountains, which appears to burn down at the clip’s conclusion due to an watched candle.

Digital influencers who’ve launched original projects on Netflix haven't always received the kindest reviews, including Colleen Ballinger’s comedy Haters Back Off and Cameron Dallas’ Chasing Cameron docuseries. However, it looks like American Vandal -- a true crime spoof headlined by sketch comedy creator and vlogger Jimmy Tatro -- has become a bonafide critical hit.
American Vandal, which chronicles the mock-investigation of a high school student who’s been accused of spray-painting penises on cars in the school parking lot, has received a 93% rating from review aggregation platform Rotten Tomatoes. Vanity Fair called Tatro’s performance “appealingly oafish” while New York magazine said the series was “almost brilliant.” Los Angeles Times television critic Robert Lloyd wrote, “It’s as engrossing as the series it set out to satirize and moving in ways you would not expect.”

In gathering a library of original programs that often feature online video stars in featured roles, YouTube Red has welcomed tour documentaries as a significant part of its lineup. Now, the $9.99-per-month service has once again made plans to chronicle a YouTube star’s life on the road. This time, the creator in question is violinist Lindsey Stirling, who will be the subject of the upcoming film Brave Enough.
Stirling, whose blend of dance moves, violin skills, and creative costumes has allowed her music videos to become viral hits, has played to sold-out shows around the world and has seen big sales on her album releases. Brave Enough will follow the musician as she tours in support of her latest LP, which shares its name with the forthcoming documentary.

On December 27th, Chasing Cameron, a series that focuses on the touring life of social media star Cameron Dallas, arrived on Netflix. The show follows Dallas and some of his friends and collaborators as they embark on a tour across Europe. Does that premise make for a compelling series?
Apparently not, according to reviews. Critics have characterized the show as easily-digestible fluff, with Michael Andor Brodeur of The Boston Globe saying the show “feels like peak nothing.” Kevin O’Keeffe of Mic uses the term “propaganda with teeth,” and he spends most his review talking about how much of the show’s drama is dispelled by the fact that Dallas, who also serves as executive producer, clearly wants to maintain a clean image. As he writes:
“This is Chasing Cameron's critical problem. Production team Magical Elves (who produced Top Chef) have mined some surprisingly smart drama of the personal...

Kylie Jenner once sagely informed us that 2016 would be the year of “realizing stuff.” And if there’s one thing we’ve realized beyond a shadow of a doubt over the course of the past 10 months, it’s that the fastest way to land a major ad campaign is to be the son or daughter of a famous personality.
