Anushka Sen, one of India’s most popular young actors, is now making an impact in Korea.

Sen gained fame as a child actor in Indian fantasy series “Baalveer” (2012) that aired on Sab TV. She burst upon the national consciousness in India playing the titular role of Rani Lakshmi Bai, a queen who fought against British colonizers in Viacom18’s Colors TV 110-episode show “Jhansi Ki Rani” (2019). In 2021, Sen became the youngest contestant on Endemol Shine India’s Colors TV reality series “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.”

A “huge fan” of Hallyu [Korean wave] in general and K-pop and K-drama in particular, Sen rates highly BTS, Blackpink and NewJeans on the music front. On the series front, Sen is an aficionado of actor Lee Min-ho, with “Heirs,” “Legend of the Blue Sea” and “The King: Eternal Monarch” among her favorites.

Actor Kush Jotwani has talked about the romantic chemistry he shares with Anushka Sen in the upcoming young-adult series ‘Dil Dosti Dilemma’, emphasising that each scene with the actress felt real.

Kush, who plays Farzan in the show, said: “Spending time with Anushka, both on and off set, felt natural, and soon, our chemistry started reflecting in our characters too. We hit it off instantly. Each scene with Anushka felt so real, like I was just being myself.”

Talking about the contrast in their characters that makes their pairing perfect, Anushka added: “My favourite aspect, undoubtedly, is the bond between Asmara and Farzan, two vastly different individuals. We unraveled the complexities of Asmara’s character and her psyche through workshops and deep dives into the script, which was very different from Farzan.”

Snap Inc. today announced the launch of 'Phone Swap India', its first Snap Original series in India premiering Saturday, 27 March. 'Phone Swap' is one of the most popular and long-standing Snap Originals, now in its 12th season and reaching over 69 million unique viewers on Snapchat in the U.S.

Produced and filmed in the heart of Mumbai by Colosceum Media, this new series was created in partnership with Team Whistle.
