Founded in 1999, Mission Prahar aims to educate women in extreme survival tactics, self-discipline, self-awareness, and self-defense. His vision, "Mission Prachand Bharat Shaurya," seeks to implement one year of compulsory military training in India's basic education system.
Grandmaster Shifuji is unique as he is the only foreign citizen and the first-ever Indian citizen to hold both a graduation certificate and a PhD from Israel, specializing in lethal counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism, particularly in urban combat. He completed his schooling at Brahman Gurukullam, following the traditional Indian educational system known as the "Hindu Sanatan Sanskriti System." He trained in Kerala's Gurukulam, Ernakulam, under legendary Kalaripayattu masters Gurrukal M Krishna Mahavatah Urchiliivaram Ayer and Gurrukkal K. C. Paniker.
Notably, he has studied over 1,700 lethal full-contact warfare forms and nearly 80 different military martial arts from today's world. He is also the only known individual to possess the secret lethal one-touch killing technique from Kalaripayattu, referred to as Praditvamarthanam or "Marm Vidya."
He began his training at just 2 and a half years old, gradually advancing through various disciplines such as Indian Akhara Kushti, Indian Hat Yog, traditional weapons, boxing, Ashtanga yoga, karate, judo, taekwondo, triathlon, gymnastics, athletics, and Mallakhamb. His education in the Gurukul system included learning Sanskrit and mantras under Shastri Rewa Prasad Tripathi, the Chief of the Brahmin Sabha, along with guidance from Param Gurrukal M Krishna Ayer.
Fluent in several languages, including Sanskrit, Punjabi, Hindi, Haryanvi, Marathi, Bengali, English, Hebrew, Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Tamil, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, and Kashmiri, he is a well-rounded scholar.
As a prominent Kalaripayattu Gurukkal, he trained at ashrams in Yurnakullam, Trivandrum, and Kerala. He draws inspiration from Indian revolutionaries like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Uddham Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, and many others. A passionate patriot, he has launched several revolutionary programs, including Mission Prahar, Mission Bhagat Singh, Mission Meri Mitti, Mission Prachand Bharat, and a campaign for compulsory military training for Indian youth.
Through Mission Prahar, Grandmaster Shifuji has trained over 3.9 million women in survival tactics and self-defense.
With more than 20 years of experience in the film industry, he made his much-anticipated debut in the 2016 Bollywood hit Baaghi, where his role as 'Guruswamy' received critical acclaim.
