Hybe, the label behind Korean supergroup BTS, announced today that its annual sales hit 2.17 trillion won (US$1.6 billion) in 2023, making it the first K-pop agency ever to reach this milestone.

The comedy trio known as Please Don't Destroy has been making a splash at "Saturday Night Live" for the past couple years. Creating fast-paced, absurd, pre-recorded sketches starring themselves, as well as being part of the writing staff, the trio has made a quite name for themselves. Last weekend, their first movie debuted on Peacock, "Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain," and it's the kind of comedy that we wish could have been given a theatrical release in order to have that communal experience of laughing out loud with a crowd. But at least it's getting a chance to find an audience. Plus, director Paul Briganti is used to people watching his stuff at home anyway.

Briganti worked at "SNL" for six years before departing the series late in 2021, just as Please Don't Destroy had joined the series.

Quavo serves as an inspirational basketball coach in his Space Jam-inspired video for “How Bout That?” The song appears on his debut solo album, Quavo Huncho, which was released in October.

In the playful, Quavo and Kid Studio-directed clip, the Migos rapper/coach meets with his basketball team, who are deflated as they enter a locker room. Fueling them with “Quavo’s Secret Stuff” and holding a glowing basketball a la Space Jam, Quavo gets the squad back in gear and ready to tackle their opponents. “We All Stars,” he raps as a reminder.

Migos rapper Takeoff staged a visual space launch while performing his solo song “Last Memory” on Tuesday’s Tonight Show. The emcee performed on a fog-shrouded stage backed by a massive screen. After a snippet of a rocket blast-off, the visuals switched to the lavish “Last Memory” video, featuring shots of a regal Takeoff wandering through a mansion. He ended the song with his back turned to the audience as the stage and screen turned white, followed by a brief glimpse of the stars.

I can honestly say that I never knew I needed Migos and James Corden to collaborate until I saw their round of Carpool Karaoke. Now I need a joint album! The episode features the rap trio hopping in the car for a very enthusiastic sing-along that also includes an impromptu shopping trip. Considering Migos came through armed with stacks on stacks of cash, you can bet they'll buy whatever Corden wants.

Not only does the foursome jam to a few of the rappers' greatest hits (can we have Corden rapping to "Bad and Boujee" on iTunes already?), but they also belt out the iconic Whitney Houston single "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)" - while dabbing, of course. File this under "Something We Never Knew We Needed": Migos reenacting a dramatic scene from the new season of Narcos.

The rap trio, who recently appeared on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, stopped by Netflix to see what Michael Peña's new role in season four, Narcos: Mexico, is all about. Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff read lines from a tense scene in the script, which sees Peña's undercover DEA agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena trying to get more product from a drug lord's henchmen.

Naturally they couldn't help but giggle a few times - yes, the members of Migos giggle - as they worked their way through the scene. Even though we know the new season of the drama hits Netflix on Nov. 16, we kind of want a new spinoff starring Migos. Watch their interpretation of the series above!

Gucci Mane and Kevin Gates mix grit and glamour in the video for “I’m Not Goin.'” The track will appear on Gucci’s forthcoming album, Evil Genius, out December 7th. The video finds Gucci Mane and Gates performing the menacing cut in a decrepit throne room, though the dinginess is offset with pyrotechnics, jewelry, champagne and beautiful women. “I’m Not Goin'” finds Gucci Mane peeling off clever bars like, “Gucci’s anti-social, bipolar, he’s un-relatable / Heard he wrote a novel/ Got labels, but you can’t label him.

Katy Perry unveiled a new holiday song, “Cozy Little Christmas,” that’s available exclusively via Amazon Music. The track can be purchased for $1.29, while it’s also available to stream for Amazon Music subscribers.

A 30-second preview of the track is available and finds Perry crooning over an upbeat blend of pianos, shuffling drums and, of course, sleigh bells. “Nothing lights my fire or warms me up baby like you do,” Perry sings, “Just want a cozy, cozy little Christmas here with you.”
