Kokoravec Leya

Leya started of very early since it was apparent from an early age that she was a very artistic person. As soon as she was able to Leya started expressing herself artistically and later on after finishing a school for graphic design and falling in love with photography Leya did not have access to a camera but she chose a path that lead her to becoming a makeup artist. Not being content with working on wedding and fashion makeup she decided to dedicate herself more to theatrical and movie makeup even going into special effects makeup. Working on filming sets Leya became more and more intrigued with the world of filmmaking even going as far as to assisting other departments only so she could be closer to where the magic happens. After time with not being content with being behind the scenes and contributing in the makeup department Leya worked as an extra on productions while pursuing her other artistic passions witch at the time were sculpting and dancing. Dancing also brought her to her partner who again introduced her to photography witch she fell in love with immediately. So Leya was very quickly taking professional looking photos of people and animals especially her favorite horses. Together with her partner who was getting interested in filmmaking they decided to record their own dance video in order to learn more about the craft of filmmaking realizing in the process that besides being a great photographer she was also an excellent cinematographer. Soon after she had released her first production she and her partner were contacted by friends who wanted their own dance video produced by them. After that together they formed Mirror 2 Mirror Productions and went on to produce more dance videos. Leya has recently finished production on a her first music video and is working on production of a few new music videos and short films.
