Starr Silara
The Artist Starr Silara (Legal Nm; Stefanie Hayden) is a San Francisco Bay Area native who now calls Central Florida home. Wife, mother of three, analyst by day and creative designer / artist by night, her world is never dull.

Growing up in the Bay Area (Silicon Valley) where the most creative minds live, she never ran out of fuel to feed her creativity; whether drawing with crayons or painting with acrylics, Starr was always creating something new. Torn between following her art or tech, she chose tech, but kept her paints and pencils close by.

After her family relocated to the Orlando area, Starr felt the spark of her creativity burn brightly again. The old adage, "It's never too late ..." is very true. Orlando's diversity enabled Starr to experience new forms of art. A trip with her oldest daughter to BASE Orlando Live was one. At BASE Orlando, Starr met several artists in the body art community, including Mandi Illene, the co-owner and founder. Intrigued with body painting, Starr contacted Mandi and was given the opportunity to assist Della Morte at the British Invasion BASE Orlando Show in May of 2015.

Since then, Starr has assisted in numerous body paint pieces and completed more than a dozen solo paintings within the last two years. Fashion EDGE is yet another addition to Starr's rising talents. Starr is featuring her first Body Paint and Fashion design collaboration collection in the Fierce Entertainment Magazine's Fashion EDGE Designer Gauntlet Spring Show 2017; a true testament to her both her design and management skills. This collection was conceptually designed by Starr and individually contributed to by the following body paint, headdress design and make-up artists.

Update Summer 2017: Since the Fashion EDGE show in April 2017, Starr has also picked up art direction for local Florida Indie Film groups. Her eye for design and continuity has helped no to low budget films bring their looks to life. Using the best resources from talented artisans and designers to shopping at the local GoodWill, Starr has brought three indie films to post production in record time. Her time and project management skills also have helped tremendously as an Art Director and Producer.
