Her professional stage debut was a lead part in the world premiere of Wang Xiaoli's 'In the Bag' at the Traverse Theatre, Britain's foremost new writing theater. A historically significant piece in that it was the result of five 5 year research project by the Traverse and was the first ever contemporary Chinese play to be performed in Europe, directed by Traverse Associate Director Lorne Campbell.
