Director Kevin McDonagh often likes to put nods to his previous film in his work. There are two references to Idol of Evil in Lycanthropy: 1. The doctor David Hilton is the same name as the hero in Idol. 2 the Victim of the vampire sisters in the bar is called Bain and is played by the actor who played the same character in Idol of Evil. The hero's wife is called Tessa Taylor and that is the name of the News reporter in McDonagh's follow up feature Enter the Cage./

Lycanthropy: Utter mess

Lycanthropy, so it's a werewolf movie right? Wrong, so totally bafflingly wrong.

Starring David "Game of Thrones/Harry Potter/The Strain" Bradley this British horror is false advertising, to the degree that would be okay if the movie was watchable. Sadly it really badly isn't.

It tells the story of a brutal murder that leads a detective to an alternative nightclub with a dark secret. Nope, that secret still isn't lycans.

I'm not sure if this is Northern English or Scottish made but the accents are thick and the one accent I despise is the Scottish one which was immediatly a detriment.

Scary? No. Well made? No. Interesting? Still no.

Dull, lifeless and accomplishes nothing, David Bradley must have owed someone I favour.
