I did not know this very short drama made forty years ago. At this time, Lucas Belvaux was not known, at least not as much as now. He plays a young man, a disturbed adult, jobless and disoriented guy who suddenly becomes berserk, mad, taking a bus as hostage...It is not SPEED, only a slow motion social drama, where some kind of Ennio Morricone music borrowed from LE CLAN DES SICILIENS or I COMME ICARE, is used to bring some pace, intensity in this bland story. But the intention is quite excellent, only the result is lame. However gem diggers can enjoy such a,n early Lucas Belvaux performance, which announces his further ones.
