Not a great fan of Holmes' character, haven't read the books, didn't follow the genre in general, but this approach got my attention from the pilot and I'm truly enjoying every minute of it.
The pair's dynamic is so great, their relationship is so amazingly balanced, Johnny and Lucy are doing a great job, as does the rest of the cast, kudos to all. I know the element of comedy is there, as it should be, but personally I'd like to see them just a tiny bit more sarcastic/funny ~ go to the next level, please, it's time ~. And to the production team, I only want to say... DO NOT let it end soon. More seasons, please ~ Thank u ~
