Mediums that we grew up with have a funny way of sticking with us as we age. And often, if we are still fond enough about them or nostalgic, than those same interests will have aged very well along with us. Assuming we also aged well lol.
What we have here is a cool all puppet casted movie, about a series of grisly murders in a woodland camping area. Thus set is the oft used but still familiar and oft loved "camp murders" scenario as the meat of the story. ITs also seemingly portrayed in the style of late weekend night B horror cable access shows. Which I love. They were very popular over the decades, and with the movies story being shot on location somewhere in the forest, it draws ya in, albeit in a somewhat cheesy way. Its still done with puppets. But if you can suspend disbelief for a little bit, you can not only have a decent time as with any other slasher flick, but support a small indie studio too thats on the rise. I gave this a quaint 6 out of 10. I hope to see more from Elmwood studios in the future but with bigger budgets and production values.

Found this on tubitv. Is it a good movie? No. But it is not the worst thing ever. If it wasn't puppets it would be a 1, but the fact that they put the effort into making it this way has to give it some credence. I had it on in the background and it was fine, like watching a college film.

This is possibly the most boring thing that I have ever seen. It's only an hour long and I bet you can't watch the entire thing. Notice that the one positive review is that person's only review. That's always a sign that the person was either payed to do it or was involved in the production. I've seen it countless times. A quick google search of his user name reveals that he is a commie shill who thinks he is some kind of artist. He probably made these awful puppets. There's no way that anyone who can read and write would think this is a good movie.
I'm hard pressed to explain how this sucks, everything is just another shade of awful. I can only wonder if there was even a script for this, all the dialogue feels like it was adlibbed and just said to fill space in the scene. Nothing comes across as remotely funny, it just kills time for the camera to cut away to the next lazily done scene. The plot is cliche, the voice acting a sin, I struggle to find anything positive to say. It just, sucks.
Enjoy the humor of old B movies with puppets. Bruce looks like campbell. Got to love the satire of the slasher oldies

This film is an awesome, fun movie. A horror movie done in traditional style but done with puppets. Jon Bristol and company have created a fun movie in the traditional horror style. 5 people in their 20's are on a trip to go camping and unaware they are on the grounds of a past brutal murder scene. The script is well written and includes a bit of everything, thrills, spills (of blood), gratuitous sex, screams, dying and everything else you need for a horror production. (Well a cameo by Steve the Vampire could've added to the scariness. ) Tonight is the Oscars and apparently Head was left out because it did not have enough ratings here on this site. That is sad it should've have been named in categories such as best use of fleece in a horror movie. Or best movie production made by people on their knees and backs.
