In their (2020) Summer movies tournament they changed the votes in the quarter finals because there were going to be 4 Star wars films in the semi finals the result was that every time a star wars film went 50/50 whit any of the other film they just added enough votes for it to surpass the Star Wars films, this was made obvious becouse in 30 secunds ROTS went from 50% to 43% (This means all of a sudden 20k people decided to vote against ALL star wars films). And this didn't happen only to ROTS, every other Star wars movie was leading with about 80% and then for like 15 minutes they went to 43% (all films stopped going down after the reached 43%.

How can you do rating by the percentage of people who give it above 70 percent. Using this method you end up with the (first thing which comes to mind) the black panther score I saw on there which was close to perfect when that movie is a 8/10 at best as well as having moments where a 6/10 movie or show gets a 0 to 3 when it is nowhere near as bad as that. The donuts at rotten tomatoes are overcomplicating the rating system for no reason apart from obviously taking money to bump up the rating of mediocre big budget superhero movies (looking at you "Shzam (1)" - that ain't a 9 its a 7 on a good day). Rotten website, rotting userbase.
