Vanishing Point wasn't easy to find, took me a fair while and sadly my search did not pay off.
This pitifully amateurish effort is further example of why the Amityville name needs to be trademarked or something needs to be done to cease this endless influx of dreadful cashins.
Set in a boarding house a bunch of people starting dropping dead and yadayada has some connection to Amityville.
The cast are dreadful, the editing is painful and the whole thing is an embarassment in film making.
It's not about the budget, I appreciate limitations imposed on film makers but this is just poorly made and would have been regardless.
Everyone involved should consider an alternative career choice.
The Good:
Nope
The Bad:
Bad sound editing
Terrible video editing
Moronic story
Awful acting
Things I Learnt From This Movie:
I have one final Amityville movie to watch, after that I think I'm going to pretend any future releases don't exist for the sake of my sanity

I've made a point of seeing every "Amityville" movie. To date; not only is this the worst Amityville movie I've seen, but also the worst movie I've seen.
Dylan Mars Greenberg has lowered the bar as to what I must consider a "1 star" film to be. Now when I watch a Steven Seagal movie, I think "well it was way better than that dull, disjointed heap of crap "Amityville:Vanishing Point", so I guess I have to give it 2 stars"
Rarely will I say that something is utterly not worth watching, but this "movie" is so indescribably stupid and boring you're better off having a stranger spit into your nose than wasting your time with this aneurysm inducing drivel.
0/10, and may God have mercy on your soul.

This film begins with a young woman by the name of "Margaret East" (Sofe Cote) staggering down a staircase after being seriously wounded from an unknown attacker. The scene then shifts to another young woman named "Brigitta Lynn" (Amanda Flowers) joining a group of friends at a boarding house in Amityville for Margaret's funeral. While there a man claiming to be an FBI agent named "Hank Denton" (Jurgen Azazel Munster) appears and asks for a room at the boarding house in order to further his investigation of Margaret's death. At first, his erratic behavior results in a refusal but, thanks to the insistence from another young women named "Sentinel Ernie" (Sara Kiser), he is eventually given a room. What he doesn't know, however, is that this particular boarding house is cursed by a malevolent spirit and that everyone living there is in serious danger. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say that this isn't just the worst film in the Amityville series--it's probably the worst film I have ever seen. Period. The acting was bad. The direction was bad. The music was bad. Everything about it was bad. And rather than waste any more time on this movie, I will just leave it at that.

Ok I see problems with this one. Even thou it had a good story line. And it was king of scary. It was very cheap. The sound was 10 minutes ahead of the picture. That did make it had to watch. It was not well edited. But on good side. It was well written and scary. It is the 13th part to the Amityville series. The 8th one Amityville dollhouse was better. Still I would have to say a lot better then the 12th one Amityville play house. Still this a good movie a lot better then the silence of the lambs. It is kind scary. Try watching it. If you some one who tires to enjoy a horror story you might like it. Do have high expectations it is no The Exorcist.
