Charlotte Nicdao.
Charlotte Nicdao is starring alongside Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham, Rob McElhenney, Imani Hakim, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi and Jessie Ennis in a comedy series commissioned by Apple.
Co-written and executive produced by McElhenney and Charlie Day and now shooting in Los Angeles, the untitled half-hour series is set in a video game development studio.
The producers say it will “explore the intricacies of the human condition through hilarious and innovative ways.”
Abraham is playing C.W. Longbottom, a seasoned writer who works at the studio, where McElhenney is Ian, the creative director. Nicdao is Poppy, the lead engineer, with Hornsby as David, a hapless, emasculated producer.
Pudi portrays Brad, an alpha male who works in the monetization department at the studio. Hakim is Dana, a sweet and studious game tester who loves gaming. Ennis is Jo, David’s over-eager assistant.

She’s one of the coolest moms in Hollywood, but Gwen Stefani‘s younger self might not have thought so.
“I was in a band and free my whole life, so I always thought I would be really free with and do whatever I wanted, like, ‘Oh, I’ll take them out of school,’ ” the former No Doubt rocker, 47, tells People exclusively. “But you learn that when they have boundaries is when they feel the safest.”

Gwen Stefani is one rockin’ mama.
Over the summer, the “Used to Love You” singer hit the road for her tour, and she had three special guys in her crew — Kingston James McGregor, 10, Zuma Nesta Rock, 8, and Apollo Bowie Flynn, 2, her three sons with ex Gavin Rossdale.
“I was scared. I hadn’t toured in seven years and one of the big reasons was because it’s really hard to do [it with kids],” the singer, 47, tells People exclusively. “The first couple days, I was like ‘What have I done?’ This is a disaster! I couldn’t get them to sleep. I was exhausted.
