The Odd Girl

Laura Smet gives a very convincing performance in this role, this realistic character. A little social drama gem that could have been released in theaters. The scheme could make audiences think of José Giovanni's DEUX HOMMES DANS LA VILLE or its remake from 2014 starring Forrest Whitaker. You are literally glued to this story, so poignant and sensitive and sad too. I hope many people could see this feature really worth watching. Really. I mean it. How can't we feel empathy for this character, despite the fact that she committed a crime. ARTE channel produces good stuff, far from TF1 crap channel craps for the common housewives audiences.
