Just finished watching season 7 Chorabali. A Masterpiece. I believe nobody again will dare to create another Byomkesh movie without Anirban. Great direction by Soumik.

Bengali society is aware of Byomkesh starting from Uttam Kumar, then Rajit Kapoor and when Abir came in the silver screen, it grabbed the eyeballs of the amazing aura of a Satyaneshi. But Anirban Sir has added the best flavour to it. He acts the best and I feel he's one of the strongest Byomkesh character the Bengali industry have right now. His dialogue delivery, husky voice and the bengali pronunciation, simply the best.

I will recommend this to anyone wanting to dip their toes into the Byomkesh world. One does not need any prior knowledge of Byomkesh. The way this show is presented is very simple. One story per episode and as of this moment there is total of 11 episodes containing 8 stories. This is the best presentation of Sharadindu's Byomkesh in my opinion.
Just like who is the best bond, there is a debate as to who is the best Byomkesh? I have no qualms about it. Only thing I know is that Anirban Bhattacharya's acting was excellent. The best thing about his Byomkesh is that he looks very human. Just like us only a bit smarter. Other cast members were excellent as well. Subrat Dutta as Ajit and Ridhima Ghosh as Satyabati was superb. The sound design was excellent neither too much nor too little, just perfect for the suspense to build. The production value is high and consistent throughout the seasons.
I really enjoyed Byomkesh (2017- ). The story was presented in a simple manner. The runtime being short, there was no room for extra masala. It felt almost like reading a book but in a more entertaining manner. The pacing was excellent, no boring moments. This show is excellent for people who has not yet read or seen much of Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay's Byomkesh.

It's a relief to see the makers' understanding of the OTT medium - they did not just present the story as they would on the big screen. Crisply written and edited, it has no prolonged dramatic or action sequences, unnecessary fiery dialogues, outlandish costumes or songs. Nor are their directorial comments amounting to gyaan on the socio-political situation of the times like in some of the recent Byomkesh films.
But Anirban Bhattacharya, a talented and established theatre actor himself, has not allowed these factors colour his performance. He steers clear of falling prey to theatrical tropes and brings to the character equal measures of intelligence and daredevilry.
All said and done, Byomkesh is a series I would surely be keeping an eye out for.

I am a very dear fan of Bomkesh.
All is well, but the story of the book does not often match.
Byomkesh Season 5 I saw Ajit and the police went to search Ramesh's house. Where there is a story that Ajit and Bomkesh were with the police. And Bomkesh himself got a bottle of onion juice.
If you make a movie or web series, match it with the story.
Please don't reverse the story,
And this is why I give 5 stars. If I did better then I promoted the whole 5 Star Day.

This is an absolute masterpiece which entertains with doze of adventure, sarcasm and witty humorous talk between Byomkesh and Ajit also with the rest of the characters. Each and every episode have some amazing to share and experience. In my opinion once you watch one of its episode you will fell in love with the rest or in other words you will crave for the other episodes without noticing how much time one have spend to watch the wholesome of all the episodes with respective seasons.

A really bad acting from the majority of the cast. Most of the time it feels they are uncomfortable with their characters. The dub seems so fake. Personally, really disappointed with the character and the actor of Ajit (S1- S3). The direction is not so good too. Unnecessary storytelling is present in every episode. The chemistry between Satyabati and Byomkesh is also a fake like. Some of the actors have problem in accent in Bengali of 30s. They have a English like Bengali accent, more like the present days. The screenplay need to improve a lot. Bengali film industry have successfully done a few classics. This is one of the instance why it's not so easy.

Most series made from novels are tampered with a little. But this is as same as the novels. Mystery lovers will surely love it.

An extremely satisfying acting as well as cinematography. Anirban Bhattacharya is by far the best Byomkesh we got in this era. Beautiful acting.
Direction is as good as the story itself. Every character was being portrayed so purely that it automatically made me stay focused till the end.
Along, the two episodes were very beautifully arranged. The first one to build up characters and the second to disclose the story with a satisfactory pace.
Nice and trustworthy to watch.

The good points of this series are as follows:-
1. The acting is very well from everyone.
2. The direction is welly done.
3. The characters are welly penned according to the series.
4. The BGM and all other technical are more or less welly done.
The flaws of this series are :- 1. The colour aspects are not up to the mark as they have not used the natural colours instead they have make it dull colour to portray old times.
2. The series is too much fast the editorial thing is not upto mark.

Abir was better than Anirban as Byomkesh. A detective seems not to be always serious. But Anirban always behaves like a serious detective that seems to be annoying. Sometime he tries to be casual but it spoils his natural acting and expresses overacting. In one word, Anirban is not still not so marure to act as Byomkesh.
