16 years ago, So-Yi (Shin Eun-Soo) went to her grandparents' home in the country from Seoul. She made biting remarks to people, but, in fact, she was in pain due to the absence of parents. She wrote an anthology with her classmate Jin-Hyun (One). Now, So-Yi is an English teacher. She goes to her grandparents' house and sees the anthology which she made with Jin-Hyun.

A-Yi (Yoo Eun-Mi) has a mother Jung-Hee (Myung Se-Bin) and a grandmother. She is a happy kid as long as she has a meal to eat, but her grandmother, who prepared meals for her, dies. Jung-Hee was a popular songwriter. She cut herself off from the world after a scandal broke out involving her and a married producer. For her daughter A-Yi, Jung-Hee goes out of her house for the first time in 15 years and begins work at a restaurant run by Ki-Bok (Lee Chun-Hee). Jung-Hee quits her job before her first day is even halfway complete. She collapses with gastritis and the doctor tells her to eat well. A-Yi decides to take the job at the restaurant where her mother worked.
