Dry, quirky, humor. In a story similar to office space, or maybe clerks, diego (eli vargas ) helps shy co-worker june (greena park) use her special filing skills in a series of competitions. So many running gags... the boss who fires and re-hires himself. The angry boyfriend who keeps calling the wrong number and cussing out a stranger. The competitions are so downlow that they have a secret entrance and a secret hand signal. It's a lot of fun. They keep introducing new characters, who are now there for some special reason. But it all works. Maybe because the characters are all like-able, plain, ordinary folks. Fun stuff! Probably not for everyone. If you're looking for bad guys to shoot up a town, this isn't it! Neatly summed up at the end. Written and directed by genius rick castaneda. Also wrote and directed cement suitcase, also currently available on free tubi streaming.
I watched this as an in flight movie and it drew me in better than the action films usually do. It seems like it would be a slow movie, but the magic aspect and engaging slow-burn romance keeps you invested. The ending is satisfying and the whole thing is worth a watch.
If you like Indie movies, you'll love this. It's not a romance for the sake of romance, so it is sweeter. It has an Alice in Wonderland appeal in that the magic is not completely explained. It's set in an office with out of the ordinary occurrences and intriguing people. The lives of the employees are intertwined in funny ways that work without the explanation.

A surreal and whacky movie about an underground filing competition that captures the banalities of office politics and life. Charming, diverse, and an all around feel good movie that is much needed in this time of cynicism.

It was a delightful, quirky love story. The characters were charming and you got to really root for them. The movie makes you laugh, it has a quick wit and smart jokes. I will be rewatching this movie.

So, my husband and I signed up to be extras in the movie and it was a fun experience for us both. When the movie finally was on the big screen we went to see it. As an extra, you do not always know about the other scenes that are filmed without you. This meant that even though we were in the movie (as extras) it was easy to get invested in the movie and then be surprised when you appeared on screen! Yes, it is true that I had gotten so invested in the movie that I was surprised when I saw myself on the "big screen!" There were times when I felt sad for the characters and other times that had me laughing. I recommend going to see it, even if you weren't in it!
