Peter Mann, who plays Ali Baba, made his screen debut in a high profile movie: He was cast as Ann-Margret's fiancee in Frank Capra's 1961 film, Pocketful of Miracles. Despite this auspicious launch, Mann's career never took off (while Ann-Margret is still a star over 60 years later).
