Myron Stackpoole (J.W. Perra) is a supra-genius mad scientist. He is also a humongous head on a tiny body. He lives with his giant, incredibly strong brother, Otis, his bug-eyed brother, Wheeler, and his voluptuous sister, Ernestina. Myron controls his siblings by the sheer force of his will, and his psychic connection with them. This allows Myron to gather supplies and fresh victims for his experiments.
Life couldn't be better for Myron and his family, until two star-crossed lovers (Blake Bailey and Jacqueline Lovell) get mixed up with the Stackpoole clan, causing... problems. Things get very interesting from there!
HEAD OF THE FAMILY is a well-made FULL MOON production. Director Charles Band put a lot of effort into this one, making it stand out among the other FM output. It's also quite enjoyable. Mr. Perra makes his eeevil character convincing, and Ms. Lovell has never been lovelier!
THE GREAT STUFF: The house, the dungeon, the Stackpooles themselves, the biker guy, the casual nudity, the love scenes with ongoing conversations, the tribute to Joan of Arc, and the general oddness of it all!
A personal favorite...
