Mercury used a C. Bechstein concert grand piano, which he played in the promotional video and the UK tour. Due to the elaborate nature of the song, it was recorded in various sections. The piano was the same one Paul McCartney had used to record Hey Jude.

It is difficult to say anything. A great song ? Off course ! But you know be more and that is the most significant thing. It is an anthem and seed of revolution. An experiment and on of impressive hills of Queen. But, more simple, Bohemian Rapsody is Freddie Mercury.
