This movie was on when I just got out of bed, I turned the TV on and watched a few seconds... it got me and I watched in one breathe. The one special thing that I liked above all was the time. 15 years after the big war. These days the war is something old, most of our friends weren't around back then. But imagine the coast of Normandy around 1959, there's peace, people do their things, go to work, marry and have children. Still the war is there like a dark sky, men from all over the world return to the place where they lost their innocence, the last days of their youth. Everyone has a secret, specially those soldiers who witnessed the most terrible things and try to keep those terrible memories inside. For some people its tearing open old wounds but for some the journey means closure.. a new start.
