Scott Brady plays here a gun for hire, more exactly a sort of western private eye, the equivalent of Peter Gunn in the old west. A guy who receives assignment. Actually this episode belongs to a series dedicated to the Scott Brady's character in this story: SHOTGUN SLADE, a 78 episodes show. So, I don't get why the hell we find it in this SCHLITZ PLAYHOUSE show...But anyway, besides this, the story remains so so, not really interesting. You have read the topic and that's exactly what it is about. The good hero works for the poor defense less woman who is so alone to protect her mine. James Neillson made it. Before working for Disney Industries, he gave us much TV stuff and NIGHT PASSAGE, starring Audie Murphy and Jimmy Stewart.
For die hard western buffs only, whom I don't belong to, especially TV shows.
