Worf goes missing and Ezri goes after him.
This one kicks off a number of plot threads that are not bad, but for me the majority of scenes are not particularly interesting.
Sisko spends a lot of screen time planning something that is fairly tedious for my own tastes, but does get better towards the end. Some of the early dialogue between Cassidy and him is full of awkward sounding exposition.
The scenes involving Worf and Ezri feel quite forced to create conflict and a predictable resolution. Michael Dorn and Nicole de Boer do their best with the material and it is not badly written, just slightly clichéd and unnecessary.
Marginally better are the Dominion and Cardassian scenes as they generate intrigue in relation to characters like Dukat, Dumar, and the female Changeling.
It is a necessary episode to watch for continuity and to prepare for what comes next.
