After many incomplete movie projects (movies that he tried to realize with his friends), the director got the inspiration for writing this movie.
This film had been presented as graduating thesis. The professor who was supposed to follow this project during the editing process was the editor Stefano Barnaba...he saw the movie only once, two days before the proclamation!
The sequence in which the Director and Davide discuss about "The Seventh Seal" is improvised: on the screenplay the characters were supposed to talk about Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau's "Nosferatu".
There's also a 58-minute version of this movie.
There are several animation sequences. These sequences have been shot in digital with real actors, and that they've been rotoscope-animated later.
