"FIFA 2007" is a classic example of how the annual release adds a little novelty to a familiar formula. Russian commentators appeared in this part for the first time, and Vasily Utkin undoubtedly added color to the game: his lively and accurate comments raised the atmosphere of the matches to a whole new level. For Russian-speaking simulator players, this has undoubtedly become a particularly significant update, giving the matches a special touch. Utkin has always been a cool, bright and memorable commentator. In the game too. It is a pity that he was then removed from the series, replaced by other commentators.
However, it is worth noting that the game itself is still the same "candy", but in a slightly new wrapper, and this has become a noticeable drawback. Yes, there were improvements, but they did not make drastic changes. A text mode appeared, but it quickly turned out that it was not so useful. New club controls, such as setting ticket prices or hiring staff, are interesting at first glance, but in reality turned out to be superficial and insufficiently developed. Yes, the addition of these features revived the career mode, but it soon became clear that they had little effect on the overall gameplay.
The gameplay, despite this, was still pleasing. "FIFA 2007" remained true to its style, and the improved AI made the opponents a little more realistic. But even with these improvements, the mechanics of the match remained pretty close to last year's version. In fact, it was still the same "FIFA", with only a couple of minor improvements and touches.
The physics has improved, the graphics have improved too. In general, the game of its time. It was played well. In general, despite the modest innovations, "FIFA 2007" still remained a pleasant memory.
7 out of 10.

I have always been a fan of the FIFA games series and have owned FIFA 96 , 97, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 and now FIFA 07. This is by far the best football (soccer) game on consoles, i own my copy for the playstation 2 and play it intensely. The statistics are amazing, you name a club or player and they are on the game, everyone from Barcelona to little Accrington Stanley FC! The visuals are fantastic with licenced kits and player appearances for all major players as well as real stadia from around the world! The sound is the best part of this game, the commentary is excellent and the crowd noise is fantastic, sounds amazingly realistic to reality. The fans will also get on your back if your playing very badly and encourage you as you attack which only adds to the realism. I give this game 10\10 and would recommend all football fans to buy this now!
