On his birthday, young Nicholas brutally murders his parents with a hammer. His sister is able to restrain him and he is sentenced to spend his life in mental institution. As he is probed by his doctor on a regular basis, it becomes apparent that there is more to Nick's madness than meets the eye. He has been possessed by a malevolent force called "The Dollman." And the Dollman has been biding his time, slowly and methodically planning his escape from the institution. Twenty years after the brutal murder, he escapes to head back to his small hometown to finish his rampage, with his two surviving sisters as his main focus.
Apparently, director and writer Chris R. Notarile adapted Methodic from remake to Halloween that he wrote and planned to film. Rob Zombie beat him to the punch,...

Little Big Boy is, to say the least, a film like no other. It tells the story of acclaimed horror film director Jimmy Duncan, famous for his hot temper aswell as his very exploitative movies. Having witnessed the murder of his mother at the age of seven, Duncan grows up at an orphanage and as an adult works his way up in the movie industry.
Caught up in the downward spiral of his own success surrounded by movie reviewers who refuse to acknowledge his obvious talent, starlet wannabes with absolutely no talent, producers with little patience and people who will do anything and exploit anyone to become famous in an industry where you can count on no-one, we follow Jimmy while working on his fourth feature film “Death Stalker”, which quickly turns into a descent into complete and utter madness as his leading lady leaves the production halfway through the shooting.

Director Brandon Slagle (Methodic) has stated that much of the production will involve "greenscreens," with shooting also to take place in Arizona and California's Death Valley. Details on cast are sparse, as Nebulus is still in pre-production; however, a synopsis is provided below.
The synopsis for Nebulus is here:

Some new images have arrived for upcoming sci-fi film 15 Till Midnight, which last month wrapped principal photography and unveiled its first trailer.
Rotten Apple Productions, Wolfpak Industry Productions, and Zeroinside Films are behind the project, which is directed by Wolfgang Meyer (The Gate of Fallen Angels) from the script by Brandon Slagle (star of Methodic, also appeared in Kinky Killers and Duplicity). The trailer went live at 15 minutes before midnight on its day of release.
The film, described as "a genre-bending combination of science fiction, horror, action, and mystery", stars Slagle (pictured right) as a man caught between parallel worlds, having followed a different path in each.
Soon he finds himself pursued by a group of men calling themselves simply The Knowers, a sect that manages the paradoxes created when individuals find themselves crossing from one world to the next - essentially maintaining a balance between each existence.

Director Chris R. Notarile is probably best known in geekdom for his short films featuring comic book characters.
In 2006, he wrote and directed Catwoman: The Diamond Exchange, starring Niki Rubin as the feline felon; Joker, starring Bryan Bockbrader and with Deanna Miller as accomplice Harley Quinn; and I'm Power Girl Dammit!!! with Tawnya Manion as the title character, Guile Branco as Bizarro (an opposite version of Superman) and Sarah Durning as Oracle (a later identity of Batgirl).
Last year he returned to the superhero genre with a new short called Elektra (The Hand & The Devil) with Kim Santiago as Elektra and Adam Shorsten as Daredevil.
Next in the pipeline for Chris is a twisted suspense thriller called Daddy's Girl. It's his second feature film following 2007's Methodic about a boy possessed by a demonic presence called The Dollman.
The filmmaker has now released a trailer, poster and synopsis for the film,...

Here at JustPressPlay, we get a lot of solicits from independent productions announcing their latest project. A lot of them have a hard time standing out, but once in a while, there's a movie that comes across our way that's just too attractive to ignore. Yes, I'm using "attractive" liberally here—after all, the movie is called Dogshit.
Just what the hell is Dogshit? It appears to be a surreal post-apocalyptic live action-animation hybrid from director Jimmy Creamer, better known (among his subjects, I guess) as speedcore artist "ScreamerClauz." Check out the crazy synopsis of his film, then the 5-minute trailer below.

Wow. Honestly, I don’t know what to say. It’s written and directed by Jimmy Creamer, aka ScreamerClauz, and they’re halfway through the shoot, with a late 2010 release date (around Halloween) expected. It’s … different, I’ll give it that. Society is ruled over by a giant dog that is using the recent surge of monster attacks to try and convince his people to sign up for “optional” brain surgery. A self appointed “monster hunter” in a pink bunny suit (Brandon Slagle – Kinky Killers, Methodic) is the only person brave enough to stand up to the creatures but soon runs into trouble when his girlfriend (Ruby Larocca – Shadow: Dead Riot, Ice Cream Sunday) is kidnapped by the Macaroni Gang. He goes on a warpath through the seedy underworld of The Dog’s dystopian society while trying to fight hallucinations brought on talking worms living inside his large intestine.
