Alex Gilbert has truly excelled in his efforts to assist adoptees in this series. I recently had the opportunity to watch it on TVNZ+. Witnessing the extensive searches he conducted for each adoptee, as well as his broader community involvement, affirmed that Alex was the ideal choice for this project. It's remarkable to witness the fruition of this show stemming from Alex's brainchild, the 'I'm Adopted' community, established in 2015. As I delved into my own research and observed Alex's tireless pursuit of reconnection for adoptees, I couldn't help but be astounded. However, seeing it all come to life on screen, I must extend a resounding applause to Alex Gilbert for his outstanding contributions.
