The names on the chalkboard are of significant figures in Superman history:

• Dr. Donner refers to Superman (1978) director Richard Donner
• Seigel & Schuster refer to Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
• Dr. Reeves refers to Superman actors George Reeves and Christopher Reeve.

While saving Jordan from trouble at the bonfire party, Jonathan says he had to randomly DM numerous people to find out where the party was, but earlier when they were in the barn with Sarah, right before their accident with the poles, he was well within earshot when Sarah told Jordan about the party and invited him to come.
