I love this series and want more episode on it. Now a days manga is around 147 ch. But season 1 with 5 episode covers only 15 ch around. Story plot is something new in romcom but very enjoyable. Also very nicely manga illustration convert in anime. I'm a man with music and in this anime they done music part very catchy for all watchers so music is also grate. I must recommend to watchers who like romcom please don't miss these. And please I love to watch more episode so crounchyroll please make more episode. Like Kaguya and Miyuki in Kaguya sama love is war best couple they now got New challenge from Tasuka and Nasa.

I adore this show.
After a bad breakup I went through during 2020, I stumbled on this show. Tonikawa gave me hope again.
The soundtrack is excellent, and watching Nasa and Tsukasa discover their love for each other is unbelievably cute.
I used to think that a Crunchyroll Orginal's couldn't be a top tier animation of mine, but I stand corrected.
That being said there are some things that could've been more thoroughly explored/explained.
Overall, Tonikawa is one of my favorite love stories I have been able to watch. If you're looking for an introduction to the genre, this is a wonderful choice.

It's hard to find a decent rom-com these days and Tonikaku Kawaii fills that empty spot for me. Actually, the story is not very impressive but they give meaning to things in married life like having rings.
I liked to discover the backstory of Yuzaki only a few things we got in the first season. I loved the opening theme song and saved it in my playlist.
The first half of the season was very good, later they go down a bit, but overall this is a good rom-com you should watch.

A different rom com starts good and gets impressively interesting. Animation is pretty good. OP and ending songs are awesome. It makes me feel I want more. I'm always waiting for next episode. The unexpected thing happens in cute and funniest way. It's too fun to watch. Some scenes are too sweet. The most enjoyable rom com.

Great anime, pretty different than the usual slice of life animes. If you are tired from always seeing the same thing, try this one, it's for sure going to entertain you.

Not like others romance anime, this one is special, probably will be my fav anime (for romance),since it still not finished,I will give rate 10/10,recommended this anime to watch ;) Have a Nice Day :v
Is all right to just kill time, funny characters and situations, but the story doesn't get anywhere, and it has nothing special to tell and has a lot of clichés.
We never know who Tsukasa really is, where she comes from; besides her name and a little detail in one episode, we don't get anything else from her.
Like I said, if you just want to kill time and watch something funny and somewhat warm, TONIKAWA is all right.

Kenjiro Hata's another rom-com anime makes a huge following in the Philippine soil, primarily because of its kilig romantic themes that would make the viewers inspire of making hugot lines and references. For me, I have the same feeling but I immediately loved this show.
The vocal performances of Junya Enoki and Akari Kito as the husband-and-wife Nasa-kun and Tsukasa-chan are so amazing and brilliant. It is so romantic and thrilling to the heart, similar to the Philippine romance films including "May Minamahal" (1993), "Basta't Kasama Kita" (1995), and "Labs Kita, Okey Ka Lang" (1998) and teleseryes like "Got To Believe" (2012) and "Forevermore" (2016).
Tonikaku Kawaii would become one of the contenders for the Best Romance Anime for the year 2020.

The anime started very well with a marriage straight away and hints of an interesting plot around the heroine character (Tsukasa).
Season 1: As per the title we see a newly wed couple acting lovey dovey which makes us feel very fulfilled and happy at first while waiting to find out more about Tsukasa (main heroine) background.
Season 2: The season continues where the first one ended, a lovey dovey couple making constant compliments to each other and in front of others while blushing at anything that should be a normal thing by the time of highschool.
Here comes the downside, the story becomes too cringe with the compliments about smell, hair, figure of Tsukasa being a mention in almost every episode. I initially liked it but it annoyed me so much in season 2 as it made the anime extremely monotone and boring. The plot about Tsukasa's history seems to be forgotten and the constant complimenting also in front of random people is too cringe (in particular for Japanese people who are hesitant to show love emotions publicly). The main guy is a genius engineer whos fixing random gadgets in almost every other episode which makes new episodes predictable.
Overall Rating: I started with 10/10 as i liked a cute non-drama anime but season 2 has led to a revised rating of 7/10 due to it being monotone and straight boring.
If you like just a smooth running cute couple acting lovey dovey than this will be your anime.
If you want some degree of progress or variance it will not amuse you.

First of all, being a 19 year old Asian I just really can't connect the main protagonist with a 18 year old asian boy although it's a Japanese anime. Yes the concept was pretty good but it never reached up to that standard.
From the very opening even from the trailer, it really teases that two young teenagers get married fatefully and the female lead is somewhat a "Moon-Goddess". To be honest first couple of episodes was good and then it went downhill. Only the first 4 episodes was going with the pace how it should be, revealing various details like Tsukasa's sister, her home and most importantly a moon rock. The moon rock made the series look really interesting as it looking to unfold the mystery of Who Tsukasa really was. But it was a real shocker when that side of the story was never unfold. Like, it was one of the main story but despite running for 2 seasons we didn't get to know anything about the "Moon-Goddess" and that's really disappointing.
Again, as an Asian background anime the relationship shown between the underaged couple was really much more mature than it should've been. First couple of episodes really shows how the relationship between a 18 year boy and 16 year girl should be as it shows what is like to become married at a very young age with all those embarrassing and blushing scenes but after that it really took to an older level making it like newly couples aged 24/25. Also 1-2 kissing scenes in every episode later doesn't make the romance anything special to remember. The romance scenes were also much bold than it should've been considering the age of them being 18 and 16.
The opening soundtrack was really great. Besides the animation and character design as also good. But the storyline was really boring as the plot never moved forward. Also the story becomes too cringe with the compliments about smell, hair, figure of Tsukasa being a mention in almost every episode.

This series is wonderful and opening song ara awesome ,And also it's super awkward series , it's feel me another level.
I didn't know how happy and wholesome a romance anime could make me feel until i watched this show. There's a lot of great romance anime out there that can take a look at you and wallop you in the gut with pain and heart break, but tonikawa does the opposite. Every minute of this show is pure joy to watch and by the end you'll be begging for more. The joy of seeing these two characters on screen is just so great, and the chemistry is just amazing as well. The animation is superb and music is also really good, the characters feel like real people and the . Almost everything about this show is amazing and i can't wait for the ova and season 2!!!
Btw If you've just finished any of the following titles (Your lie in April, Clannad the after story, I want to eat your pancreas, A silent voice, etc.) watch this show now trust me it will help ease the pain.

Lads, this was the definite fluff that I thoroughly needed to watch every week. NASA and Tsukasa were literally such an adorable couple! I mean seriously, every episode would literally give you a sugar rush because your heart will melt with them interacting lovingly to each other. I don't recommend this series though if you rather a deep romantic genre because all you're gonna get is a splash of legit lovey dovey here lol...
I even liked the other characters, particularly the maids (I ship the pair of them as a yuri couple atw) and Kaname (she's hilarious with what she comes out with). I was glad that there was no drama or much jealousy shown in this series because normally when you watch/read romantic comedies in the anime/manga world , you tend to see it a lot. Not with this series (maybe if the series progresses to it's OVA, who knows?) Although I do admit Tsukasa's step sister and Kaname's sister were a bit annoying.
Btw, the opening is such a banger like Akari Kitou is brilliant as both a singer and a voice actress for Tsukasa!!! I was actually shocked that this series was created by the same author of the Hayate series(not my favourite anime tbh) like I only found about this through the MAL comments.....SERIOUSLY!
Anyways definitely check out this anime guys, it's worth to put a smile on your face at a wholesome series like this one!

I watched it, and it will be the last time i watch it. Its a romance anime, i thought there would be conflict. But there was none. Like nothing. So it was very chill. This doesnt eat your braincells, like you dont have to think as compared to animes like death note/one piece. Its very relaxing, if your sad from watching a great anime and need to rest on something, watch this.

Tonikaku kawaii , a positive ,cute, romance comedy anime. When its come to Japanese animation i have higher expectations because of the achievements of other animes. Well tonikaku kawaii hasn't disappointed me. 12 episodes of story and 13 th episodes is like a recap which conveying a message that "the story continues ".
Great animation, feel good music has drove me into the series.
And im waiting for the 2nd season...
My rating for this series: 7.5/10 16+ is recommended. Have a good day..

It hurts to write this because I loved the pilot so much, easily one of my favorite episodes of romance anime. But then they turn a really interesting and cool concept into nothing more than a standered boring ass romance anime where the main girl has no personality besides "cute". It makes me wanna vomit sometimes at how her husband literally thinks nothing of her besides the fact that she's attractive. Combine that with really dull episodes and generic side characters and you get an anime that is insanely disappointing. Sorry if you like this one, just really not for me.
