The different versions of the game differ greatly from each other. The Super NES version has the least amount of levels (it is missing both the bonus level themed to
The Band Concert (1935) and the tower level in the Mad Doctor level) and cuts back on the amount of special effects and appearances by Pluto, as well as features a loading screen between levels. Both the Sega CD and Playstation versions of this game add an additional boss fight against Pete in the Prince and the Pauper level, in which Mickey must gather pencils to summon the different versions of Mickey seen in the game to help battle Pete. Mickey is also given extensive dialog relevant to any given situation in the game. The Playstation version also enhances all of the graphics and features a second chase level, which is used as the last level of the Mickey and the Beanstalk sequence, in which Mickey must escape from Willie the Giant, who chases him like how the moose chases him in the Moose Hunters level.
