OMG I Cried So much at the end!!

Just kidding. Altho it was well filmed this movie seemed pretty average. Was this a Lifetime movie of the week? That's the impression I had. Predictable plot. Not really any good twists or turns. Really can't give it more than a 5 and that's probably being generous.

This film is in the horror and suspense drama?

NOTHING scary, NOTHING suspenseful. Just a bad movie with bad actors that took til the final 10 minutes to build its plot. And im sorry to say but even the little girl was a bad actor.

Quite good

I saw "Jordan" at the Waterfront Film Festival over the weekend and really enjoyed it; it was pretty easily the best of the films I had a chance to see. The plot was solid and the acting was quite good (most notably from the young girl who played Jordan -- that solid of acting from a child is rare), but I was most impressed with the deliberate, tense pacing of the film. Overall it was a very enjoyable thriller, with a surprisingly poignant ending.

The filmmakers and child actress were present for the screening I attended and answered a few questions, which was a nice extra treat.

(sorry, I needed more lines to meet the minimum)

Boring

Plot is about a little girl on a road trip with her mother. They have an accident and the littler girl gets help. The mom eventually shows up and the little girl claims that the woman that show up is not her mom.

I'm not sure how this film was labeled a psychological thriller or even drama. It's very slow moving and the characters are so uninteresting that you will probably find yourself doing something else during the movie like playing soduko . It isn't a bad movie if you can watch it for free while doing laundry but I wouldn't waste any other time on it. Also, the background noise is so loud that one can barely hear the conversations.

Surprisingly engaging

I shouldn't like this movie. The writing and acting weren't great, but some how it kept me interested. I think it was the children working together and supporting each other that endeared me to the movie. It felt quite genuine and warm even with the relatively flat reading of their lines. It was also nice to see a positive Native American representation.

Mediocre

This movie could have been so much better. It lacks content, dialogue is missing feelings.

An enjoyable, easy to watch drama.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, it built tension throughout and there was some strong acting, especially from the actress playing Jordan. It was, I suspect, a low budget film, but they did really well with what they had. The setting was stunning and well filmed, and it was a plus to see a diverse cast. One criticism would be the sound. Often the music was too loud and the dialogue, especially in the hospital scenes, was far too quiet. I would rate this a 6.5.

Worth watching

After reading numerous reviews of such completely different ideas, I had to watch this one to form my own opinions. Being a long time movie buff myself I can understand the other people's views. However I completely differ with most of those opinions. It does start out a bit slow. But I thought the acting was good especially the little girl, who was quite believable for a 5 year old in such a devastatingly emotional part. The ending is a completely surprise! It's worth a watch. Get your own opinions.

interesting short film

I enjoyed the story, yes it could have had more detail and special effects however it is a short film and it still showed the meaning of a mother daughter bond. I love that Jordan didn't stop fighting to find her mom and Eli believed her. if this movie were to become a more detailed story, I would want to know a little more back story, who the imposter was and why she was following them. I would want to know more about how Eli believed Jordan about the imposter. overall, I think it was worth the time, it shows great teamwork, strength and resiliency.

Good idea, poor acting

Little girl survives a car accident and leaves the upturned vehicle to find help for her trapped mother. Eventually gets to the nearer town and reunited with her mother by the police. But the girl claims the lady is NOT her Mum. Clever idea and interesting movie. But the acting is terrible (apart from the two youngest actors-the little girl and the 12 year old son of the cop). It was like they read their lines from cue cards in the background. The cop's wife NEVER smiles and seems more worried about forgetting her lines! Great story-but potential ruined by poorly chosen actors who mumbled to camera and weren't believable.

Boring

I thought it was a horror movie. It wasn't a good psychological thriller for that matter. Good acting by the children . Good too see a Mexican family portrayed. Other than that this was slow and needed more depth in writing. The premise was good but the results sucked.

Good suspense

This movie was suspenseful .It kept you wondering why the girl kept saying she was not her mom.It was good to see Native Americans in the storyline as well a diversity in this movie. The end made sense and It wasn't what I thought .I thought all kinds of things like she was a ghost or an alien but you have to watch the movie to see the ending.Good acting especially the kids.

Rewarding watch if you like this sort of thing, and I do

Okay, so the budget wasn't massive, A couple of the actors needed more direction; and -yes!-major probs with sound to put it mildly. But this was a highly watchable - faces, landscapes, essential mystery - suspense movie. Zaragoza was a believable chill sheriff. Liezel Carstens was an intriguing baddie, lots of dark depth there, can see her doing vampire stuff, what happened to her? The kid heroine did very well considering a few improbabilities in the initial story line. The young boys also played well despite little experience. The ending wrapped things up well. Editing fine, and great colour. 6.5 actually. Enjoyed it. (Not a horror, tho'.)

quite bad

Although the story line was ok, the acting and editing and the mjority of the lines were amateurish and predictable
