So wonderfully funny and witty. The acting is perfectly awful minus Anya who can't pretend not to be able to act. Don't let that out you off watching it.

Covid has at least brought us some very inventive shows this year. Once more David Tennant features and Olivia Colman shows us why she's got her Oscar for her world class improvisation.
Great stars and a really fun script. Give it a watch - you won't regret it.

Missed this last year but pleased to have seen it now. I loved the 'thrown together, not much rehearsal' feel. Never took to the zoom format but I think it worked very well in this case. Plus it has a serious message too. Top marks all round. (Message saying review too short - why?)
You have to admire the stars of stage and screen putting on a panto for Christmas via Zoom.
It is for Comic Relief and it is evident that there was little rehearsal but plenty of gusto in this version of Cinderella.
Rising Hollywood star Anya Taylor-Joy plays Cinderella. Oscar winner Olivia Colman has a sizeable role as the Fairy Godmother.
There are surprise stars. A former tenant of the Tardis and no stranger to shows made on Zoom. Then a man desperately trying to hang up his licence to kill all year.
There are snippets to remind viewers that it is to raise funds for Comic Relief.

I couldn't sit thru more than 5 minutes of it, nor could my wife. Just dreadful! And what a shame as its quite a talented cast for the most part.

Unfortunately for me this has to be filed in the "thanks for the effort, I know you made it in difficult circumstances, but this wasn't that great" pile of festive pandemic programmes.
