After starting 2013 out on such a bad note with A Haunted House, I thought to myself “Surely things can’t get any worse.” Then I remembered that with all the awful, horribly crafted, exploitative spoof movies out there, there’s someone twelve steps behind them making insultingly cheap spoof movies without a single productive thought behind the whole f*cking production.
At least Marlon Wayans made ballsy calls, has good production, and injects some intelligent goo found in small spurts about his film. Too bad Craig Moss has created one of the worst films in the history of cinema, eviscerating my soul with a thoughtless, brain cell killing comedy not even worth the .99 cent bargain barrel at your local going-out-of-business video store. All titles must go – except 30 Nights Of Paranormal Activity With The Devil Inside The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Honestly Craig Moss, f#ck you for making me write that.

Heather Ann Davis vamps for Eric Callero in Breaking Wind.
The 2011 comedy movie Breaking Wind is the inevitable parody film of the Twilight vampire saga.
Like the Twilight books and film, Breaking Wind revolves around a love triangle of mortals, vampires and werewolves — all of which must be put on hold when the beloved Bella (Heather Ann Davis, TV’s The Lake) finds herself in danger (for a change). This time, a gang of bloodsucking newborns threatens her safety, and the two loves of her life are forced to put their differences aside to save her. Again.

Following on from the reveal of some new artwork for the latest 'Twilight' spoofage 'Breaking Wind' the Craig Moss' ('Bad Ass', 'The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It') project has opened it's humour doors some more by unleashing a new trailer filled with toilet-humour and not overly bad sight gags. It's a shame the spoof genre has effectively lost its footing quite dramatically since the 90's. However, it'll take something far more special than something like 'Breaking Wind' to really get it back on its feet. The spoof stars the likes of Heather Ann Davis ('The Lake'), Eric Callero, Frank Pacheco ('Wizards of Waverly Place') and Danny Trejo ('Machete'). Check out the new trailer below and check it out on DVD when it arrives this March courtesy of Lionsgate...

Though it's still a bit of a mystery to us how the teenage saga of beastiality and necrophilia known as The Twilight Saga ever became so popular in the first place, we are happy about one thing ... the spoofs.

Whilst Craig Moss' spoof flick 'The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It' decided on the odd idea of parodying a bunch of comedy movies his new spoofy take on the 'Twilight' franchise may have a little more bite. But the on the otherhand if it is anything like the suck fest that was Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer's 'Vampires Suck' then we're all in a world of hurt! Some new artwork for the planned DVD release has turned up featuring its three leads Heather Ann Davis -below ('The Lake'), Eric Callero and Frank Pacheco ('Wizards of Waverly Place') who play Bella, Edward and Jacob respectively. Danny Trejo ('Machete') also pops up as the character of Billy Black. Trejo also stars in Moss' new action thriller 'Bad Ass' which should see the light of day soon.

Today, to close out 2011, I bring you a movie mystery. And no, it's not a movie that's a mystery; it's a mystery involving a movie…maybe.
Last week, a teaser trailer for something called Bad Ass snuck onto the Internet. It stars Danny Trejo, Charles S. Dutton and Ron Perlman, and word is that it's based on a video that went viral last year.
The story goes like this. In February 2010, a 67-year-old Vietnam vet named Thomas Bruso (aka Epic Beard Man) got into an unsavory fight on a bus in Oakland, California, and the whole thing was caught on video, posted on YouTube and became a sensation within hours. Now comes a movie based on this video. Hey, why not, right?

Robert Rodriguez made him into an action hero with Machete, but now Danny Trejo is back to play a real-life "action hero" of sorts in a movie called Bad Ass. Watching the trailer for this film, initially I thought it was supposed to be a parody of Kick Ass, but as it turns out it is based on a real-life incident that was captured on video and became a YouTube sensation. 67-year-old Thomas Bruso was provoked by a 50-year-old black man on a bus in Oakland, and he responded by beating the crap out of him. He has since become known as "Epic Beard Man." This movie presents a fictionalized take on the story, with Trejo playing a Vietnam vet named Frank Vega, who protects an elderly black man from a pair of skin heads on a bus. When his best friend is murdered and the police do nothing about it,...

Anytime you can’t tell whether a trailer is for a real movie or a parodic lark, it reaffirms the need to give it a second or third look. That’s priceless for a lower budget movie based off an internet meme. Bad Ass, a totally real, actual movie, stars Danny Trejo as a bearded man riding a bus who is set upon by local street toughs. When video of him taking their asses out to the curb goes viral, he becomes a crime fighter. It’s based, of course, on Epic Beard Man – an Oakland bus rider who encountered the exact situation (including delivering a whooping and becoming a viral video star). So, why not watch the trailer and the original viral video together? Check it out for yourself, and start growing a beard for justice. Aw, man. He’s leakin’. As you can tell, the character has been changed from a white man into the...

I’d imagine it’s hard being a Twilight fan, or as they’re called a Twi-Hard, because everyone rips on this franchise. Trashes it. Destroys it. How do you defend yourself? I don’t know. No one trashes my favorite film franchises, so I can’t relate. Regardless, MovieHole has learned there’s a new Twilight spoof coming called Breaking Wind (get it? Breaking Dawn, Breaking Wind? Eh…), which is written and directed by Craig Moss.
Some Dtv faithfuls might remember his name from The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It, the Judd Apatow spoof. Well, Moss is fresh off of Bad-Ass, an action film tongue-in-cheek thingie starring Danny Trejo and Ron Perlman.

Back in April, we talked about the fact that another Twilight spoof movie was being developed - after the lackluster Vampires Suck, this seemed a little improbable, but still - and now a few details about the film, which will be called Breaking Wind (obviously parodying The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2), have been unveiled.
Per Moviehole, the film comes from Craig Moss, who did The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It.
The plot, apparently, is as follows:
The script for this one, penned by Moss, tells of a young woman named Stella who is forced to choose between ”egocentric” vampire Edward and ”horny” werewolf Jacob. Whichever boy can satisfying St ...

While I eagerly sit in my little corner eagerly anticipating the September 6th return of "Sons of Anarchy" which will bring with it the introduction of a new associate played by none other than Danny Trejo, we have a little something that is bound to make SoA fans smile - for about 30 seconds.
Turns out Trejo is teaming up with Ron Perlman for more than just a few appearances on SoA. The duo have gotten themselves involved in a questionable production aptly named Bad Ass. The title refers to Trejo's Frank Vega, a decorated Vietnam Vet who returns home to find his life falling apart.
It's not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus (where he protects an elderly black man from a pair of skin heads) makes him a local hero where he's suddenly celebrated once again. But his good fortune suddenly turns for the...

USA has a real curiosity on its hands. Coming to you tonight is a new show, Fairly Legal, and what's curious about it is that I'm not in love with it yet. As you may now, I'm a big fan of everything USA has out there (though White Collar distanced itself from me with that last episode), and their new shows usually have me hooked long before I even get a chance to see them. I'm willing to give this one a chance, even though the first few episodes are rather rough, but just the fact that I'm not already completely invested makes it USA's poorest showings in quite a while.

There was a time when I was convinced that Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the guys responsible for all of the "Movie" movies, were the least talented people in Hollywood. Then I watched The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It. Cowritten by Brad Kaaya and Craig Moss and directed by Moss, the comedy (I'm using that word loosely) is a parody of Judd Apatow and Apatow-related movies like The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Superbad, and it accomplishes the dubious achievement of being even less funny than Friedberg and Seltzer's send-ups.
A completely laugh- (and idea- ) free experience that should be lucky enough to serve as the last nail in the coffin of movie parodies, not to mention the careers of its creators, The 41-Year-Old Virgin... is a new low even for the generally mediocre quality of straight-to-dvd entertainment.

Well I think we all knew this was coming. Writer-director team Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer are currently putting the finishing touches on the next in a long line of terrible spoof flicks that includes Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Disaster Movie. Their target this time around? Twilight. Obviously. The movie is called Vampires Suck, and it is being rushed to theatres in time for a late summer release. There is one surprising thing about it though: the movie stars The Hangover and Community star Ken Jeong. Can he possibly save Friedberg and Seltzer from another laughter-less comedy? I think we can all agree that Twilight is an easy target (a little too easy), but this movie will have a pretty good shot at cashing in on the general contempt that most non-Twi-hards seem to feel for the franchise. In fact, there's also another competing Twilight spoof in the...

I generally have absolutely no interest in spoof movies, at least those made in the last decade or so, but I wanted to give The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall And Felt Superbad About It a chance. Why? Well, because it was at least making of things I wanted someone to make fun of. Not only does it poke at the obvious, but it throws in shots at Twilight, Sarah Silverman, the "most interesting man in the world" commercials, and an "unnamed" show that tricks molesters into showing up to get caught on camera trying to meet young girls. Of course, the lack of interest stems from the brand of humor associated with such things, and while there are actually a few moments that may cause a smirk here, the film still relies on a level of drunkenness that would leave one without the requisite ability to see.

The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It
Directed by: Craig Moss
Cast: Bryan Callen, Noureen DeWulf, Mircea Monroe, Stephen Kramer Glickman
Running Time: 1 hr 25 mins

Due Out: June 8, 2010
Plot: The popular films directed and produced by Judd Apatow are made fun of by grown men with the minds of 8 year olds in this spoof from the director of Saving Ryan’s Privates. If you think I’m talking about Steven Spielberg, reread that title.
Who’S It For?: People who take the phrase “I’m a kid at heart” to a disappointing extreme. Or, those who have really unfortunate luck when it comes to renting movies.
Movie:
While Judd Apatow may be in first place to tell you that writing comedy isn’t easy, the losers behind this witless parody would certainly be the last. Somehow the art of...

When I came across the title The 40 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It on IMDb my brain shut down and went into an automated fear response of rapid Googling to confirm whether or not it was some kind of hoax. It is not. This is a full-on, feature length, distributed by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, motion picture (thank the comedy Gods it isn't getting a theatrical release).
And though you'd rightfully expect that this is a stepchild of the same team who put together cash-in spoofs like Meet the Spartans and both Epic and Disaster Movies, The 40 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It has nothing to do with either Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, which means that we can now add a third name to the list of the horsemen of the apocalypse: Craig Moss.
